The Pigiama Run is back, the race for children undergoing cancer treatment

VFriday, September 15 at 11 p.m Italian cities are coming back jogging pajamas, the race organized by the Italian League Against Cancer to raise awareness of childhood cancers and support specific projects to help children undergoing cancer treatment

An event that puts everyone in pajamas with the aim of showing closeness to those forced to wear them all day in hospital: now in its fifth edition, Run in pajamas is the race organized by LILT to provide support and encouragement to children dealing with cancer and their families.

TO Milan the appointment will be on September 15, at 18.30, at the Indro Montanelli gardens. Here six routes will be suggested: four run and two walk. Each group will be led by professionals able to support the participants and help keep the pace. For everyone there will be music and entertainment provided by Radio 101, refreshments from Esselunga and a play area dedicated to the little ones, to have fun with the bricks and meet the characters from the LEGO® DreamZzz™ animated series.

With the funds raised through registrations for the race, LILT Milano Monza Brianza, together with the Pediatric Oncology of the Cancer Institute, will guarantee free basic services, assistance and hospitality for the families during the treatments.

They will be the testimonies of the event Juliana Moreira and Edoardo Stoppa, which will invite everyone to adopt an original and fun dress code. The most original looks will be rewarded with the Pajama Challenge. All registered participants will receive event goodies and gifts from sponsors.

Here are all the cities where the match will be held: Bari, Barletta, Biella, Brescia, Catania, Cuneo, Genoa, Latina, Lecco, Lodi, Milan, Rome, Padua, Palermo, Piacenza, Pistoia, Ragusa, Sondrio, Taranto, To Terni, Trento, Treviso and Verbania are the other cities where the Pigiama Run will take place. Participation in the “Anywhere” mode will also be possible, walking or running wherever you want.
