Pitti Uomo 105: event previews – The Wom Fashion

THE2024 begins under the banner of men’s fashion: over 835 brands will meet at the Fortezza da Basso and it will be a series of events, news, debuts, special projects. Here are the previews.

Fashion, a universe in constant motion

Pitti Uomo 105 It is already confirmed as a fashion event of international importance, a point of reference for brands and designers, but also buyers and representatives of the specialized press. The theme of Pitti Immagine 2023 is Pittitime, or a kind of parallelism between fashion and time. International collaborations are expanding and we will see the start of it Neudeutsch, a new project about new wave design from Germany. It will be one showcase curated by Julian Daynovwhich will feature 17 creatives and brands based in Germany.

The Pitti Uomo 105 route

The exhibition spaces of Fortezza da Basso are ready to welcome the multifaceted and international world of Pitti Uomo. The Collections Fall/Winter 2024-2025 will be presented as part of it five sections: Fantastic Classic, Male Future, Dynamic attitude, Superstyling And Go out . From classic to atypical, through experimentation and vintage. And there will be no shortage of them special areas dedicated to pets. Pittipets, moreover, has now become one of the most popular events at the Fortezza.

But let’s get back to the present tokens, undoubtedly numerous. It is impossible to list them all, but we expect it in the section Fantastic Classic – the evolution of the classic in its most innovative and modern versions – we will find among others Borsalino, Cruna, Paul & Shark, Piquadro. Male futurea journey through the styles of the most advanced contemporary menswear, will also see Avant Toi, Faliero Sarti and Roberto Collina on the catwalk.

Among its protagonists Dynamic attitude – fashion that speaks of an active lifestyle – Barbour, Woolrich G-Star Raw, Guess Jeans. Among the brands in the section Superstylingdedicated to the stylistic rules that predict the trends, there will be Amaranto, Manifattura Ceccarelli, WANT Les Essentiels. Go out will offer a new lifestyle perspective, based on more advanced stylistic research, and Càpe Concept, Le Soulor 1925, Monofoo will also be on stage.

Between special projects and debut

Other previews. Pitti Immagine Uomo 105 will mark the Todd Snyder’s return to the catwalk, the eponymous star of this edition’s Designer Showcase. Guess will preview it new line of Guess Jeans by Nicolai Marcianowhile Tod’s and Automobili Lamborghini will present the first collection Tod’s for Automobili Lamborghini.

Between debut of this edition, that of the Finnish designer Achilles Ion Gabriel. Again the stylists Stefano and Corinna Chiassai – father and daughter – will unveil Velvet Mi Amor, an installation exclusively dedicated to velvet and Fairy will participate for the first time in the event at the Polveriera grounds with a scenographic concept created in collaboration with the studio of the architect Andrea Caputo.
